Raven Archer is a hunter and an upcoming character in the Hathaway Chronicles novel, Shattered Spells. She was mentioned by her mother in Darkness Descending, saying she can be quite a handful. She is a vampire hunter, along with her entire family. She is the daughter of Mila Archer and the younger sister of Jonathan Archer. She is also a member of the Sanguinis Clan, though she is not a fully realized hunter yet due to her young age.
History[]
Raven Archer was born on April 19, 1995to Mila and the late James Archer in New York. Her father was English while her mother is full Russian. She is also the younger sister of Jonathan, born 2 years after him. Like her brother, she was one of the best of her generation of hunters. Some say even better than her older brother. Her father passed away before she was born, so she never got to meet him. She graduated school early and joined the operations of the Sanguinis Clan at the age of only 15. She is usually with her mother conducting affairs for the clan. For the last few years, however, she has been trying to find the true cause of her father's death, as it was very suspicious.

Even though she does not appear, she is mentioned a few times by her mother to Laura Rezza in the chapter At All Costs. She tells her Raven can be quite a handful at times since she goes off and gets herself into trouble, especially with hunting on her own. Her mother normally has to drop everything and get her out of trouble. Mila also wishes that her niece Celesta could have met Raven and Jonathan, but laments that Miranda never wanted her daughter to know of her hunter heritage, since the relationship between Lydia Hathaway and William Archer was taboo.

Appearance[]
She has light blonde hair just like her mother, and had dark brown eyes. Despite her petite frame, she had a very athletic and strong body due to years of training to be a hunter like her family before her. She wears dark makeup often, and prefers wearing dark clothing with combat boots.
Personality[]
Raven is described as being tough as nails and can give someone a look and make them automatically cringe. She has a very sarcastic personality and likes to tease her older brother, she looks up to him but often sees herself as more mature than him. She tends to glare at people she is introduced to, she is very distrusting of others that she does not know. Like her brother and mother, she is known for her quick temper, but she puts loyalty to her family above all else. She is also very smart, having been homeschooled, she graduated from high school at only 16.
