Darkness Descending is the first novel of The Hathaway Chronicles. The book was first uploaded to Wattpad on January 1, 2017, and is being updated with chapters till its completion.
Synopsis

A darkness is coming...
A split second, is all it takes to change someone's life forever. At only ten, Lydia Reza comes to face to face with something you only hear in fairy tales, and death itself. She meets Sheldon Pierce, however, what was a peaceful gathering with their parents, turns to utter chaos. Fearing that Lydia would be emotionally scarred, her mother has an acquaintance of hers, Scott, erase her memories of that harrowing night.
At seventeen, the only thing she has to worry about is not letting people know about what her and her family are, witches, and graduating of course. But when darkness rolls back into town, bringing terror in its wake, Lydia and her friends will do anything to stop it, changing each and every one of their lives forever.
