Amberly Rose Wise is a witch and one of the main characters of The Hathaway Chronicles. She is best friends with Eleanor Harris, Lillian Rezza, and Celesta Moone. She is also in a relationship with Eddie Duell.                                               

Amberly is a member of the Wise Family and Carp Family. She is also a descendant of the Hathaway Family, through her grandmother Madison Carp.                                               

History

Amberly Rose Wise was born to Andrew Wise and Maria Carp on May 23, 1995 in Savannah, Georgia. Before she was born, her aunt Madeline attempted to kill Maria when she was six months pregnant with Amberly. Andrew however stopped Madeline and killed her. Afterwards, the two decided to move away from Seaside. When Amberly turned two, Maria died unexpectedly. It was later revealed Maria faked her death and turned into a hybrid to get rid of her magic, since their family line was cursed. The same which effected her aunt Madeline. With her magic gone, Maria was freed from the curse but decided it would be too hard to come back after everything Andrew went through after his wife's "death". He later moved back to Seaside and rejoined the Hathaway Coven as an enforcer. Being around the Rezza's often who also were enforcers, Amberly grew close to her cousin Lily, along with Celesta and Eleanor. When she was in the sixth grade, Eddie Duell moved to their town and she always had a crush on him. They later became a couple a few years later. Known for being the most athletic and flexible of her friends, she became a cheerleader, later becoming the captain in her senior year.

The Hathaway Chronicles

Darkness Descending

Amberly first appeared in the chapter The Glimpse. She came to the beach to meet up with her cousins, and she met Zach and Scott for the first time, abet awkwardly. She later pulled Lily away with Elle down to the beach to meet up with Eddie.

In the chapter Where We Started, Amberly greeted her friends on their first day of senior year. Later on in the chapter Trials of Magic, Amberly is helping Celesta figure out why Lily was experiencing bursts of magic, but the girls couldn't figure a solution. She later left and met up with Eddie to go eat lunch. In Way Down We Go, she is with Cel and Lily in their science class and Amberly isn't impressed that all Lily and Scott did was kiss one another.

In the chapter Lights Down Low, Amberly is helping with decorating for homecoming. She encourages Lily to ask who she likes to the dance, but Lily disagrees and says Scott probably didn't like her that way. Amberly told her then it was his loss. Unknown to Lily, Amberly made Scott stay after they all left to finish the balloons Lily tried doing. She did this in hopes of getting them to talk to one another as Amberly knew they both liked one another.

Appearance

Amberly is described as being around 5'0" and despite her small frame, she is strong and well built after being a cheerleader for most of her life. She usually wears her hair down, letting it fall in long blonde waves. She has a kind round face, and long light blonde hair. Like the Brown family, most of the women were born with aquamarine blue colored eyes, and can dazzle anyone.

Personality

Amberly is very outgoing and bubbly. She is the typical cheerleader girl, but is very down to earth and nice to everyone. But like most of her friends, she can be very serious and is very self sacrificing especially when it comes down to her friends. Despite her small size, she can easily get the attention of everyone around her with her strong personality. She also idolizes her boyfriend and according to Celesta, does not see that he isn't the perfect boyfriend he portrays to be. Being very self assured, she is the wily one out of the group, always diving head first into whatever comes her way. She is very flirtatious, and looks down on her cousins when they don't act on their feelings or do more to get attention from their love interests. Despite being headstrong at times, Amberly is quick to overreact to anything out of the ordinary, which tends to incur the wrath of her cousin Celesta and be seen as annoying or not helping the situation with her reactions.
